Ken Lindsey
author : Ken Lindsey
Ken Lindsey was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to an outlaw father who read him Sesame Street books at bedtime and let him watch The Shining before his fifth birthday, and a blue-collar mother who was likely the hardest working person he has ever met. This is how he wound up spending most of his childhood with his nose in books and a die-hard love of horror movies and great cinema in general. Narnia, the Millennium Falcon, and Elm Street all hold holy and happy places in his adolescent memories.\n\nDuring high school Ken found his true love in a Journalism class where he wrote opinion pieces, toyed with the idea of being a photo-journalist, and took every chance he got to read and review books that had not already found their way to his bookshelf. Before graduation, he began writing his first manuscript-a vampire story very reminiscent of Anne Rice’s Interview With a Vampire, which was never (and never will be) published or shared with the public-at-large.\n\nSince graduating Salutatorian of his class, Ken has dabbled in College, tried his hand far too many jobs to name, married, had four beautiful children, divorced, and continued writing. Nowadays he drinks all the coffee, spends as much time as he can with his children, enjoys the Pacific coast whenever he can get to it, and perseveres in his writing in between bouts of vacuuming animal fur from the couch and searching for the best biscuits and gravy in the Pacific Northwest.
